Ingredients:

250 g Refined Flour
1 tsp Dried Yeast
30 ml Water
1 ½ tsp Sugar
150 ml Milk (luke warm)
5 tbsp Dr. Oetker FunFoods Mayonnaise Veg
100 ml Milk
2 tbsp Honey
1 Berry Compote, Red Currents & Mint Sprig for Garnishing

In a mixing bowl add 220 gm refined flour.

Reconstitute the yeast first with adding 2 tbsp of water to 1 tsp of dry yeast & ½ tsp of sugar. Mix it properly and keep it aside.

In the refined flour add 150 ml of lukewarm milk, stir and add 1 tsp sugar & little bit of salt. Mix the yeast finely and set it aside for fermenting, approximately for 30 – 40 minutes.

After fermenting add 3 tbsp of veg mayonnaise to the batter and lightly fold the mayonnaise into the batter to get a light and fluffy consistency.

For making the crumpet, put the pan on flame. Take a ring mould and lightly brush the inside with olive oil. Place the ring on the pan and pour the batter inside the ring.

On a low flame cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, remove it from the sides of the ring and turn over to cook for a minute on the other side.

For the sauce, put another pan on the flame, add 100 ml of milk, 2 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp of mayonnaise. Stir and cook till you get a slightly thick consistency.

For plating, use berry compote, red currents and mint sprig for garnishing as suggested.
