|5 g||Dried Yeast (1tsp.)|
|5 g||Salt (1tsp.)|
|2.5 g||Sugar (1/2tsp.)|
|15 ml||Olive Oil (1tbsp.)|
|70 g||Onions (1 small, diced)|
|70 g||Tomatoes (1 small, diced)|
|120 g||Green Bell Pepper (1 medium, finely sliced)|
|50 g||Paneer (finely sliced)|
|120 g||Mozarella Cheese (grated)|
|250 g||Dr. Oetker FunFoods Pizza Topping (alternatively Pasta Pizza Sauce)|
Preheat oven to 180°C.
For filling, in another bowl add onions, tomatoes, green capsicum, paneer and pizza sauce. Mix well.
In a bowl mix maida, yeast, salt, sugar and water.
Briefly knead the dough and gradually add oil until it no longer sticks to your hands.
Cover the dough with a thin kitchen cloth and leave for approx. 45 minutes or until it doubles in size.
Make four balls of equal size from the dough and roll out on approx. 8cm dia. spread to make the calzone crust.
Equally spread the filling in the center and sprinkle cheese. Fold the calzone into a half moon shape and seal the edges by crimping them with a fork.
Place the calzones on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until base of the calzone is slightly brown in colour. Serve hot.
For variety use red capsicum and potatoes in place of green capsicum and paneer respectively.
