Boil water, add salt, cook penne pasta in it (8-9 min.) or as directed on pack. Drain water.

Heat a pan(medium flame), add vodka and cook until vodka has reduced to half (be careful when doing this and make sure to stand back). Add pink sauce and boiled pasta.

Stir and toss well. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over pasta, garnish it with basil sprig and serve hot.
